Who we are
NexoZip Ltd is a technology company registered in the United Kingdom under number 17323445, with its registered office at Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU.
We build and operate NexoZip — a peer-to-peer digital marketplace, available on the web and as a mobile application, that connects businesses and individuals who need something moved with independent transport professionals already on the road in Portugal.
The problem we set out to solve
Every day, thousands of vans and trucks cross Portugal half-loaded or completely empty on the return leg. That unused capacity is fuel already burned, hours already paid for, and revenue that never happens.
At the same time, businesses that need to ship a pallet, a sofa or a same-day parcel are left calling around for quotes, with no way to know whether the price they are given is fair.
NexoZip closes that gap: empty miles become extra income for couriers, and shippers get the genuine market rate without the guesswork.
How the marketplace works
1. Post the job. The customer describes the load, the pickup point and the drop-off point. Posting is always free and takes under a minute.
2. Receive blind bids. Verified couriers nearby submit sealed offers. None of them can see what the others quoted, so nobody bids against an inflated number — the competition is real and the price reflects it.
3. Track it to the door. The customer chooses the offer and rating they prefer, follows the job through its stages, messages the courier in the app and confirms arrival with proof of delivery.
What we move
The platform covers five core shipping categories: small parcels (documents, packages and same-day drops), pallets (bulk and palletised freight), furniture moves (a single sofa up to a full home), pet transport (couriers equipped to move animals safely) and scrap & recycling (responsible removal runs for business waste).
Zero commission, by design
NexoZip takes no commission whatsoever on what a courier earns from a delivery. The transport price agreed with the customer is paid directly to the courier, in full.
Instead, the platform runs on NexoCredits — pre-paid credits a courier buys in advance and spends only when a bid is won. There is no subscription, no automatic renewal, and credits for bids that never get awarded are returned to the balance automatically.
Trust and verification
Every courier is onboarded through Didid.me, a globally trusted identity verification platform, and identity and driving licence documents are validated automatically through Didit. A courier cannot accept a single job before passing those checks.
Couriers may also upload a goods-in-transit insurance document to display the corresponding badge. This upload is processed by an automated tool — NexoZip does not carry out manual verification and cannot detect a policy cancelled or expired after upload. Customers should always confirm cover directly with the courier before the job begins.
What NexoZip is not
NexoZip Ltd is a technology provider, not a transport company. We do not own or operate delivery vehicles, we do not employ drivers, and we do not take custody of any goods listed on the platform.
Every courier on the marketplace is an independent professional running their own business. The transport contract is concluded directly between the customer and the courier they select, and payment for the transport is settled directly between them. NexoZip provides the digital infrastructure that connects the two — nothing more, and nothing hidden.
Where we are heading
Driver onboarding is live across Portugal now, ahead of our official launch in August 2026. Portugal is where we start — the model is built to travel.
